ABOUT THE CANAL ZONE REUNION

The CANAL ZONE REUNION is a non-profit association that promotes the history, culture and friendships of the Panama Canal Zone.

PURPOSE

The Purpose of CZR is to share Panama Canal Zone culture, history and friendships while raising funds for charity through education, art and wellness experiences during the annual Canal Zone Reunion.

MISSION

The Mission of the Canal Zone Reunion Association (CZR) is to preserve and celebrate Panama Canal Zone culture, history, and lifelong friendships through annual reunions in Panamá that inspire connection, rekindle pride, and pass our traditions on to future generations.
Through fellowship, education, art, and wellness, CZR strengthens the PanaZonian legacy, encourages family and school reunions, and raises charitable support to give back with gratitude to those less fortunate in our beloved Panamá, thus ensuring that the Zonian spirit remains vibrant, connected, and forward-looking for generations to come.

VISION

The Vision of the Canal Zone Reunion (CZR) is to bring more Zonians and their friends back home to Panama, to the country, communities and people we love, and to rediscover and reexperience this land that shaped their childhoods and lifelong friendships.

Our vocation is to reconnect generations with the spirit of Panamá by celebrating our enduring bond with Panamá, the country’s vibrant culture, its warm and welcoming people, unforgettable cuisine, and extraordinary natural beauty.

We will invite all Zonians and their families and friends to relive the places and memories that defined their youth, while witnessing the remarkable growth and development of modern Panamá, the Canal, and the people, creating meaningful new experiences alongside the cherished old.

Through continual support for CZR charitable efforts, benefiting those less fortunate in our beloved Panamá, the CZR will increasingly give back with gratitude for the unique upbringing we shared.
