About: Reprosa started in 1975 from the vision of Frank Santomenno, to safeguard the cultural and historical heritage of Panama through the reproduction of its valuable pieces of pre-Columbian art. “Treasures of Panama” is the name with which we praise our collection, that has the best of Panama. It was this pride for the autochthonous, which led us to create “Treasures of Panama, the Experience”, a tour in our workshop where visitors have the opportunity to learn and participate in the process of making our pieces.

More information: This tour is conducted by Kassie Sprague Taylor, Al Sprague’s daughter, and his grandson, Alfred Sprague Taylor. Your tour will begin in the lobby of the Radisson Hotel with a short introduction to your personalized Al Sprague art tour. We will load a cruiser bus for maximum comfort as we journey through 70+ years of Al Sprague Art beginning at the place where he painted his first painting on the causeway. From here you will have an inside look at the permanent collection of paintings depicting a full transit of the Panama Canal on display on the 2nd floor of the Panama Canal Administration Building Rotunda. Hear inside stories about how these paintings came to be an everyday part of life in the Administration Building and how this work has been used for the development of two Canal Zone postage stamps as well as special gifts from the Panama Canal Authority. Our next stop will be at the Sheraton Grand Hotel where the largest and most famous Al Sprague painting is displayed. Hear the story of how this work found its home across from the front desk. Our final stop will be at The Executive Hotel where we will view another large Al Sprague original painting and the newly installed Al Sprague mural. We will enjoy a lunch in the cafe surrounded by this Al Sprague artwork. About: The Miraflores Visitor Center offers one of the most immersive and iconic experiences for anyone curious about the Panama Canal’s engineering marvel and historical significance. On top of that you will get to know how the Panama Canal works, watch Vessels transiting through the Canal locks in the Miraflores Visitors Center and witness how History was made during the construction of this Wonder of the Modern World in a 45 minutes movie in the IMAX theater.

Enjoy a guided walk through Summit Gardens with tropical experts and former BHS science teachers, David and Mayra Seitz. They’ll share their passion for Panama’s flora and fauna, pointing out hidden insects, colorful birds, and jungle stories you won’t want to miss.

Come and enjoy summit gardens, as you learn about the flora and fauna with your personal tropical tour guides, former BHS science teachers, David and Mayra Seitz. Come along as they share their lifelong passion and knowledge of common and obscure jungle facts, share stories about the gardens, and leave you wondering how you ever missed that insect hiding amongst the leaves or that beautiful bird in the tree. Wear good walking shoes and be prepared to walk a little over a mile, some of it uphill, on somewhat uneven paths. Hat, bug spray and sunscreen and water are advisable. Feel free to bring binoculars and cameras as there are great photo opportunities.

More information: Our journey begins visiting the Panama Biomuseum where we will visit 8 galleries in the space. A Biodiversity showcase; Panamarama, a 3-level projection space of Panama’s ecosystems; Building the Bridge, which explains how Panama was formed; Worlds Collide; an exhibit about the animals that migrated through the region; The Human Path, where you learn about the human history of the isthmus; Oceans Divided, semi-cylindrical aquariums; The Living Web, a 15 meter sculpture; and finally, Panama is The Museum, an interactive view of the relationship between Panama´s cultural and ecological diversity. Description: Celebrate the Theatre Guild of Ancon’s 75th anniversary during the Canal Zone Reunion with an evening of history, laughter, and community. Guests will enjoy guided tours of Panama’s longest-running playhouse, exclusive photo opportunities, a short documentary on the Guild’s legacy, and a lively ImprovTGA performance.

The Ray² Golf Invitational Tournament is a charity event organized by the Canal Zone Reunion Association and world-class golf organizers, Zen Communications.  This year’s 5th Annual tournament will be held at the Summit Golf and Resort, a challenging, professionally designed, 18-hole, 6,626-yard, par-72 championship course located within a lush tropical setting. It boasts fairways with strategic bunkers, panoramic views of the Panama Canal’s Gaillard Cut, the Panama Railroad, Camino de Cruces National Park, and abundant wildlife.

The Ray² tournament is dedicated to the memories of two avid Panamanian-Zonian golfers who played these courses from the late 60’s thru the 10’s:  Ramon “Ray” Reyes and Raymond “Ray” Underwood.

Description: We’ll begin at the Panama Canal Museum in Casco Viejo, exploring eleven exhibition rooms that showcase 1,350 pieces spanning from pre-Columbian times to the present. You’ll journey through Panama’s history while discovering one of the world’s greatest engineering feats—the Panama Canal. The museum also serves as a vibrant platform for art and culture.

Next, we’ll experience the Geisha Coffee Tour, where you’ll learn about the history of Panama’s world-renowned Geisha coffee. The tour includes tastings of three distinct processing methods, paired with exquisite desserts made from this exceptional variety.

This guided experience, led entirely in English, offers a unique blend of history, culture, and flavor.

Your journey begins with a convenient hotel pick-up at Radisson, Marriott or Holiday Inn Hotels at 8:00 AM, followed by a scenic drive to Colón City. As we make our way through the vibrant streets of Colón, enjoy a panoramic view before stopping to savor some local empanadas.

The tour continues with a drive through the historic areas of Margarita, Gulick, and Davis, showcasing the Old Canal Zone’s unique charm. At 10:00 AM, we will visit the Agua Clara & Gatún Locks Observation Center, where you can witness the impressive engineering of the Panama Canal up close.

Lunch will be served at Shelter Bay Marina at Fort Sherman, providing a perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Afterward, we will embark on an exploration of Fort San Lorenzo, located within the San Lorenzo National Park. Here, you’ll delve into the fascinating history of this UNESCO World Heritage site, which once served as a strategic defense point against pirates.

As the afternoon unfolds, we will depart Fort San Lorenzo around 3:30PM, making our way back to Panama City, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel by approximately 5:00 PM.
